Travelling by road gives you a direct emotional contact with Mother nature than any other forms. Your face can feel the chill breeze, breathe fresh non-contaminated air and I bet you would take often Chaai breaks to see the serene view of those places. Leh Ladakh and Spiti valley are not the only scenic roads in India. We have stupendous number of roads that are not sung for its fame. We have listed out places you wish to take a quick disappear from Metro and hide in green meadow surrounded roads.

Pollachi to Valparai:

Climate in Pollachi will be pleasant and enduring throughout the year. Coimbatore to Pollachi travel is also an eye-catching and scenic retreating experience. Start from Pollachi and take an adventurous 41 bends and turns to reach Valparai. The ride would be escapade and it would require often adrenaline rush. If you are travelling from Kerala, reaching Valparai would also be more interesting by taking the route of Chalakudy- Athirapally – Sholayar and finally to Valparai. While you cross Chalakudy, when you hear a majestic roaring of waterfalls cascading from huge rocks is undoubtedly Athirapally falls route.

Tamilnadu route: Pollachi – Aliyar – Attakadi – Valparai

Kerala route: Chalakudy- Athirapally – Sholayar – Valparai

Chennai to Pondicherry:

Had a whole long hectic week and barely need an escape from your tiring chaotic routine work. Here comes an opportunity to secrete serotonin element to feel the happiness. Take a bike ride from Chennai to Pondicherry in East Coast Road that runs along the Bay of Bengal Coastline. On your way there are lots of picturesque places like Kovalam beach, Portuguese Catholic church and Alamparai fort. Ride along the coast of Bay of Bengal and reach French colony which is fame for its beaches and liquor. Take a break and go to “Give time a break” – Pondicherry Tourism Department slogan.

Route: Chennai – Mahabalipuram – Cuddalore – Pondicherry

Kolli hills to Bangalore:

Beauty of 70 curves – Divine for Bike riders

Not interested to spend your weekend like a sloth by Zipping and Zapping from Facebook and Netflix. Tired of your routine chaotic week; thinking about badly need a break from your demanding work. Here is my suggestion take a bike ride, say a big ADIEU to metro and ride on the adventurous 70 bends and turns of the route. The ride would be a notable one if you like to ride on twists of hills. Kholli hills is the nearest hill station down in Bangalore. This 5-hour ride from Bangalore is worth the view as nature is at the best as the foggy and breezy wind flow through your face.

Route: Bangalore – Hosur – Dharmapuri – Salem – Rasipuram – Kolli hills

Rameshwaram to Dhanushkodi:

Tired of being in metro cities for your whole life time, thinking about a religious yet relaxed out. Here Is your desired trip of Rameshwaram to Dhanushkodi. On the way, you can visit Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s memorial and pay tribute to our simple in outer perspective yet great human of technology. The route would be out of this world by surrounding water on both sides, clear sky and it is just an open road. This ride would make you to forgot that you were in India. Check the weather before you start your trip. Don’t forget to dip yourself at the holy water and get yourself fully energized.

Coorg to Munnar:

Coorg/Madikeri is known as ‘Scotland of India’ has gained its name for its climate. Coffee ana tea plantation is wholly penetrated here. Sip a cup of tea in the cool climate of Coorg or Kodagu.  Ride from Coorg to Munnar via Ooty and Masinagudi ,Bandipur and Mudumalai wildlife. The ride would be splendid and have often stops of breath-taking scenic views. Ooty to Masinagudi ride is a pure nature view and I bet you would really enjoy the ride. Total distance of Coorg to Munnar is 550 Kms which is long, yet you won’t feel the tiring feeling because Mother nature won’t let you to feel the tiredness.

Route: Coorg – Mysore – Tiruppur – Udumalpet – Munnar

Ooty to Masinagudi:

Ooty to Masinagudi is a must try route in our list for its nature, climate and hills. You would be flat through the green meadows. On this route, you would take Bison Valley view point there the view would be sumptuous, and I bet you would spend there for atleast 20 mins even though you were in hurry. As both the places are hillstation, be prepared to make yourself warm. Take often breaks to taste the tea of Ooty tea and Varkki (Supplement for tea). Near to Masinagudi, there exists Mudhumalai which gains its fame for wildlife sanctuaries and elephants. Walk with elephants for an adrenaline rush feel on your stomach.

Route: Ooty – Mavanalla – Masinagudi

Dandeli to Goa:

Dandeli – An adventure seekers paradise. It is the journey of adventure to relaxed one. Once you are down from all adventure activities in Dandeli, transfer to Goa to feel the breeze and beaches of Goa. On the way you can visit Bhagavan wildlife sanctuary at Mollem if you have the fond for animals. Get yourself tanned in the beaches of Goa by exposing much on the rays of sun. It is the quick getaway from your metropolitan clangour to the pristine beaches of Goa. Shift your vision from dull lighting laptop screen to pleasant nature loving sights on your route.

Route: Dandeli – Vitnal – Kamare – Castlerock – Mollem – Goa

Vizag to Arakku valley:

Tired of being soaked in beaches of Vizag and ever thought about need a change. Here is our suggestion of taking a ride to see the green environment. Once you cross Srungavarapu Kota nicknamed as “S.kota” you can see the starting of green meadow carpet. Once you get into it, your skin can feel the sudden climate change from warm to chill, your way would become foggy and breathe the breeze air on your nostrils. On your way, you can visit Katiki/Katika waterfalls which is just 7 kms from Borra caves. Continue your journey and have frequent stops to enjoy the scenic nature of the hills and also to taste the perfect chaai. Finally reach Arakku valley and don’t forget to take a picture of Arakku that will be the green souvenir of this trip.

Route: Vizag – Kothavalasa – Srungavarapu kota – Bowdara – Pandrangi – Arakku valley
