The Arudhra Darisanam or the Thiruvathirai vrata is one of the major festivals in all Shiva temples celebrated annually during the day of Makaram-Thiruvadhirai star in the Tamil month of Margazhi. The Arudhra Dharisanam is celebrated in a grand manner in 5 Sabhas of Lord Shiva in Tamilnadu. This auspicious day usually falls between the months of December and January and this year 2020, the Arudhra Dharshan is going to be celebrated on 10th January 2020.
