Day 1   Arrive Cochin – Munnar

Up on your arrival at Cochin airport / railway station, our Guest relation executive will receive you  and he will introduce our Chauffer for your tour. Later, start your drive an enthralling hill station - Munnar. It’s a nature lover’s paradise which is located above the sea level of 1660m. It is a summer resort located among the tea plantations, winding lanes, green grass, flora and fauna. The hills, lakes, valleys and the forests make this place a perfect summer spot. It is located at the convergence of three mountain streams. The climate in Munnar is so pleasant that it has visitors throughout the year. In the en-route, you can witness the beautiful water falls -  Valera & Cheeyappara waterfalls. On reaching Munnar check in to the hotel and relax by taking a nature walk in the hill station. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 2   Munnar

Explore Munnar sightseeing on this day - Which includes Eravikulam National Park (Closed from February to Mid of April) - which covers forests of Western ghats & it is the home for the rare goat species Nilgiri Tahr. Then you can visit the famous Tea Museum (Closed on Mondays) where you will find the tea processing & lush green plantation of tea. The other attractions  are Mattupetty Dam & Echo Point. If interested, you can also opt for Ayurveda massage on your own. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 3   Munnar – Thekkady (Periyar) (4hrs drive)

This morning, after breakfast drive to Periyar, an exotic land blessed with verdant forests and spice plantation. This lovely land with lush flora and fauna is a perfect place for an adventurous safaris, tiger trails and trekking. You can feel the oneness of Mother Nature at Periyar. This town is famous for its wildlife sanctuary and for a large variety of spices & tea, coffee plantations found here. On reaching there, check into the hotel . Thekkady is basically for exploring & doing activities unlike other destinations. It is famous for its wildlife sanctuary and for a large variety of spices & tea, coffee plantations found here. On reaching there, check into the hotel . Thekkady is basically for exploring & doing activities and there are no much sightseeing as in other destinations. Afternoon you can opt for a Spice plantation tour or common boat ride in Periyar lake (both on direct payment basis). Get back to the hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay at the hotel in Periyar.

Day 4   Thekkady – Kumarakom (4hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom - a group of little islands on the Vembanad Lake (the longest Lake of India) in Kerala. Experience a different world all together with the splendid backwaters, houseboats floating among the coconut trees, and glimpse of the local life at Kumarakom. Bird sanctuary here is a safe haven to millions of lovely birds and other species. Your days here will definitely be enriching. Check into the lovely backwater facing resort and relax. If interested, you can visit the famous Kumarakom bird sanctuary where you can find several rare species of migratory birds  or you can also opt for Ayurveda Massage on your own. Later explore the town and local culture & activities. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Day 5   Kumarakom – Alleppey (1hr drive)

This morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards the lovely backwaters of Kerala at Alleppey. Designated as the Venice of the East, Alleppey (Alappuzha) remains as the major center for backwater trips with a large network of lakes, lagoons and several freshwater river connections. A ride in one of these glassy lagoons will take you to a little paradise.  On reaching Alleppey, embark your houseboat in Alleppey at around 12 Noon. Enjoy the cruise through the backwaters, canals where on both sides of the lake, you get to know the local life in a village. You can taste the yummy Kerala cuisine served in the houseboat and relax during the cruise. After lunch continue the cruise and during the journey you can see ancient temples, churches, paddy fields and can watch the day to day activities of the local people who live nearby. Evening you will get tea /coffee with snacks and around 5PM, the houseboat will be anchored a safe village area where you could walk around. There is no cruise during the night time. Have dinner and Overnight at the Houseboat in Alleppey. Overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 6   Alleppey – Cochin Departure (2.5hrs drive)

Today disembark from the houseboat at 9AM and drive towards Cochin. Later you will be transferred to the airport/railway station as per the schedule for your onward journey with sweet memories of the tour.
