The architect of Modern Karnataka Sir.M.Visveswaraiya is honored by dedicating a splendid museum in his memory and it is called as Visveswaraya Industrial and Technological Museum. The technical inventions and the brief history of the industrial revolutions happened in the country is displayed in this museum in a very easy manner to understand. The museum is situated in the surroundings of Cubban park. The first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru opened the Museum for public view on 14/7/1962. Activities for the Visitors are Taramandal Show, Science Demonstration Show. Sky Observation Programme, Popular Science Lecture, Commemorative Programme. The museum has seven permanent exhibition halls such as Engine Hall - How things work, Electrotechnic ,Fun Science, Space-Emerging Technology in the service of mankind, Biotechnological Revolution, BEL-Hall of Electronics, Science for Children and special exhibits Dinosaur Enclave, Science on a Sphere, Wright brothers aero plane. The museum is an eye-opener on the industrial and technological advancements of the country over these years and is a never to be missed tourist spot with the following charges.
