The famous Tamil film “Guna” starring Kamala Hassan was shot here and so it is known as Guna caves. The Guna cave is commonly known as the devil’s kitchen. The whole atmosphere is scary and gives chills to our nerves. Lots of unusual rock formations are found here, due to the erosion of soil from cliffs.

Some decades back this place was completely restricted to the public, since some young unmarried couple tried to commit suicide here. Recently it is again open to the tourists with proper protection and surveillance.

This enchanting place is filled with lush greens and dense forests. This incredible place is a best sight for wild photography and bird watching. Trek through these deep cave – most importantly with proper guidance and protection.
