On Arrival at Bangalore Airport or Railway station, you will be received by our executive, followed by transfer to residing Hotel (room will be availed as per standard check in time of hotel). Onward proceed for sightseeing of Bangalore visiting – Vidhana Soudha the land mark of Bangalore, built entirely from Bangalore granite in the Dravidian style, it has floral motifs on stone carvings drawn from the celebrated temple craft of South India. Continue with visit to Lal Bagh Garden and Tippu Summer palace - this palace was first a mud-brick defense built by Kempegowda in 1537. Proceed to visit the Bull temple -one of the oldest temple in Bangalore. Post visits return to hotel of stay. (Overnight at Hotel in Bangalore).
After breakfast check out and drive to the palace city of South India – Mysore. Enroute visit “Tippu Summer Palace” at Srirengapatnam. On reaching mysore visit the Famous “Palace of Mysore” - Built in 1912 in the Indo Saracenic style. Onward visit to the “Jayachanarajendra Art Gallery” housed in the Jaganmohan palace that has a collection of Exquisite paintings dating back to 1875. You will continue the tour visiting Bull temple (a 4.8mts monolith) on the way to Chamundi hill temple and then to visit the “Chamumdi Temple” on the hill at a height of 1062mts. A view on Mysore city from the hill top is breath taking. Later in the evening visit to the Mysore boast beautiful Brindavan Garden. (Overnight at hotel in Mysore)
Check out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Ooty (Uthagamadalam) – also known as Nigiris. On arrival at Ooty check in into the hotel and after refreshing, proceed for the sightseeing tour visiting places of interest such as the Botanical garden - spread over a huge area of 22 hectares and with more than 650 species of flowers and trees is a horticulturist’s delight. The highlight of this garden is a fossil tree believed to be 20 million years old. The Doddabetta peak - at an altitude of 8606 feet is the highest point of South India. It provides stunning views of this hilly region. The Rose Garden - located in the prime part of Ooty, spread across in around 10acres of area, it is one of the largest gardens of its kind in India. The Wax museum in Ooty is also an interesting spot to visit. Wind up your day at the Ooty lake where in you can indulge in many activities like Boating, Cycling around the lake, Joy ride on Horse etc. Post visits return to hotel. (Overnight at hotel in Ooty)
After breakfast, proceed to Coonoor by the famous TOY TRAIN (ticket subject to availability) for a short and beautiful ride from Ooty to Coonoor (ride time approx. 1.15Hrs). Upon reaching coonoor, our chauffeur will pick you from railway station and continue for sightseeing of Coonoor visiting places of Interest such as the Sim’s park – yet another beautiful botanical garden which is home to a variety of unusual species of plants from different parts of the world. Lamb’s rock – gives you a spectacular view of the lush forest and the beautiful hills side, thus making this place an excellent picnic spot too. The Dolphin’s Nose – is another stunning viewpoint which is more than 1000 feet above sea level. The name is derived due the unique rock formation of the peak resembling a dolphin’s nose. Pine forest- one among the preserved treasures of Kodaikanal providing a beautiful ambiance. Guna caves – Earlier was known as devil’s kitchen, but became popular as Guna Caves post showcased in Tamil movie named Guna. The Pillar rocks – a set of three giant 122mtrs rock pillars. The Green valley view- formerly known as Suicide point gives you an excellent panoramic view. The Botanical Garden / Bryant park – is a wonderfully maintained garden right in the hear of the town. End your visit at the famous Kodai Lake – one of the beautiful manmade lake of Kodaikanal. After early breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Madurai – one of the most famous temple town in South India. On reaching Madurai visit to the famous “Meenakshy Amman Temple” & further to the “Tirumalai Nayak Palace”.
