Years ago, holiday trips to other countries were not that easy to organize as it sounds. Most of the people were doing research via the internet to travel to India. Perhaps people were not sure whether everything promised in the website itineraries will be delivered when they arrive in India. They were hesitant about receiving top quality, reliable service when they reach India for their richly deserved holiday. Though trips were affordable and within their reach, credibility among the Tour Operators remained a question mark in their minds.
Pandian, the Founder Chairman of South Tourism strongly felt the need to redefine the travel experience in India. He has been a part of this travel industry since 1983 & has a vast knowledge about all destinations in South India. With determination & positive spirit, he created a small travel solutions company in South India in the name of South Tourism with 2 staff members. He shared his vision and knowledge along with his personal experience to his people. His experience, later, became the source of inspiration to many people who joined South Tourism to grow with it. A great workplace culture begins and ends with people. The team here believes they can do anything, they are hungry for constant improvement and constantly challenges themselves, relentlessly work to take the company to the next level of journey in offering travel care.

South Tourism, a Destination Management Company (DMC) in South India has entered into its successful 20th year of operation on 14th February 2022. It reached miraculous heights by offering incomparable service blended with highest standards and quality. It stands proudly as one of the icons of South India Tourism now.
Crises like COVID-19, while adversely affecting an industry, have also been the driver of innovation and change for South Tourism. When COVID caused a huge impact on tourism sector, we were inspired to take a new path. Rather waiting for tourism industry to recover, we innovatively diversified our business in June 2020 with minimal manpower and started to manufacture UVC products to transform our environment into a virus free one and providing every individual an ideal choice to lead a healthy lifestyle. When we started out, we knew we were taking an audacious path, as we did not have any background or experience in this segment. But, we persisted, and through the hard work of each and every employee, and constant guidance from friends and well-wishers, we succeeded in creating a range of UVC products under a new business vertical - UVC Life Light.
Our services are personalized in nature with an expertise of 20 years in the service industry. Our team has more than 300 members, comprising of destination Experts, Tour Planners, Guest Relation Executives, IT professionals and well-mannered experienced drivers. They all have an in-depth knowledge of all South Indian destinations. Our widest network of our own offices throughout South India covers – Tamil Nadu (5 offices) Kerala (4 offices), Karnataka (Bangalore), Pondicherry, plus we have office in Mumbai as well.
