Detailed Itineary

Day 1 : Bangalore - Mysore

Upon your arrival in Bangalore, our representative from South Tourism will assist you for your onward journey to Mysore, the erstwhile capital of the Deccan Kings. On the way, stop at Srirangapatna to visit the Renganathaswamy Temple, one of the five Pancharanga Kshetras along the banks of the River Cauvery. The temple features Lord Renganatha in a reclining posture. Explore the historic Srirangapatna Fort and the palace of the famous King Tippu Sultan. Afterward, continue to Mysore. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the popular Brindavan Garden, which attracts tourists year-round. Overnight stay at Mysore.

Day 2: Mysore - Coorg

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit the famous Chamundeshwari Temple and the magnificent Mysore Palace, which showcases stunning architectural elegance and is the official residence of the Mysore Royal Family. Then, embark on a scenic drive to Coorg (Kodagu), a breathtaking tourist destination in Karnataka. On the way, stop at Namdroling Monastery, also known as the Golden Temple, located in Bylakuppe, the second-largest Tibetan settlement in India. Experience the peaceful beauty of this Buddhist Monastery. Also, visit the Cauvery Nisargadhama, a popular island retreat accessible via a rope bridge, surrounded by dense forests of Sandalwood, bamboo, and teak. You can enjoy elephant rides and stay in treetop cottages. Proceed to Coorg and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Coorg.

Day 3: Coorg

Today, explore the beautiful landscapes of Coorg. Start your day with a visit to the Omkareshwara Temple, followed by a trip to Abbey Falls, nestled amidst lush coffee plantations. Cross a hanging bridge to reach the falls and enjoy its scenic beauty. Continue to the Madikeri Fort and the nearby Raja Seat, a viewpoint that offers stunning views of the surrounding hills. Learn about the rich history of the Deccan Plateau at the Madikeri Museum. After returning to the hotel for a rest, spend the afternoon exploring local markets where you can purchase homemade wines in a variety of flavors. Overnight stay at Coorg.

Day 4: Coorg - Bangalore

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey back to Bangalore. En route, visit the Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can learn about the lives of elephants. Participate in exciting activities like feeding and bathing the elephants. Continue your drive to Bangalore, where our representative from South Tourism will assist you with your return flight arrangements. The tour concludes with wonderful memories!
