Detailed Itineary
Day 1: Bangalore - Ooty
Upon your arrival at Coimbatore Airport, a warm and friendly representative from South Tourism will welcome you and introduce you to your dedicated driver for the journey ahead. Get ready for a picturesque drive through the Western Ghats with your first stop at the Bandipur or Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. If you're feeling adventurous, you can opt for an exciting jeep safari in the forest (payment made directly), where you might catch a glimpse of elephants, deer, and maybe even a tiger in their natural surroundings.
Next, continue your journey to the breath-taking Pykara Waterfalls, a must-see attraction near Ooty. Once you arrive in Ooty, check into your hotel and unwind for the evening.

Day 2: Ooty
After breakfast, set out to explore the natural beauty and cultural attractions of Ooty, famously known as the Queen of Hill Stations. Start your day at the renowned Botanical Garden, where you can marvel at fossilized trees, a charming glasshouse, and a unique model of a Toda tribal house.
Then, feast your eyes on over 2,000 varieties of roses at the Ooty Rose Garden, one of the largest rose gardens in India. Your adventure continues with visits to St. Stephen’s Church, the Tea Factory and Museum, the vibrant Thread Garden, and the historic Stone House, which is the first bungalow ever built in Ooty.

Day 3: Ooty - Kodaikanal
Start your day with breakfast before hopping on the famous Nilgiri Mountain Railway (Toy Train) for a breath-taking journey to Coonoor (availability permitting). This UNESCO World Heritage railway is an experience you won’t want to miss, showcasing stunning views of the Nilgiri Hills that look like they belong on a postcard.
Once in Coonoor, take a stroll through Sim’s Park, a lovely botanical garden filled with unique plants. Next, make your way to Lamb’s Rock, where you can soak in the expansive views of lush tea and coffee plantations. Don’t forget to stop by Dolphin’s Nose, a popular viewpoint that rises 1,000 feet above sea level, for some truly spectacular sights.
After lunch, embark on a scenic drive to Kodaikanal, making a pit stop at the beautiful Silver Cascade Falls before checking into your hotel.

Day 4: Kodaikanal
Savour a leisurely breakfast before diving into your Kodaikanal sightseeing adventure. Kick things off with a visit to Bryant Park, a beautifully maintained botanical garden. Then, head over to the breath-taking Pillar Rocks and take a stroll along the panoramic Coaker’s Walk.
Make a stop at Green Valley View (formerly known as Suicide Point) for some jaw-dropping valley views, and then explore the intriguing Guna Caves, also known as Devil’s Kitchen, which gained fame from the Tamil film Guna. Later, wander through the enchanting Pine Forest, a dream come true for nature photographers.
Wrap up your day at the picturesque Kodaikanal Lake, where you can indulge in boating, horse riding, or cycling (available for direct payment).

Day 5: Kodaikanal - Coimbatore
