The riverine forest where river Mighty Godavari cuts through the dense woods makes it more fertile and the entire sanctuary is sprawling across an area or more than 14 sq.miles. The uniqueness of this sanctuary is that it is the perennial basin of River Mighty Godavari with tiger, sloth bear, rhesus monkey, cheetal and sambar as the other associates in the adjoining regions of the forest.

Sivaram Wildlife Sanctuary is protected and preserved under the Karimnagar East Division of the Forest Range of Telangana state. Forest Rest Houses are available in Mancherial and Eklaspur(Manthani), which are at a distance of 50km and 10km respectively. You can plan to stay overnight in these rest houses if you are keen to have deep insight into the beauty of the wilderness.
