Detailed Itineary
Day 1: Arrive – Trichy – Kumbakonam
Upon arrival at Trichy Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and introduce your dedicated driver. Begin your Navagraha Yatra by visiting Thingalur Kailasanathar Temple, dedicated to Chandran (Moon God). While the main deity here is Lord Shiva, known as Kailasanathar, this temple is cherished for its connection to the Moon's impact on our minds and emotions.
Next, you'll head to Suryanar Kovil, the only temple in Tamil Nadu that houses all nine Navagrahas (the Nine Planets). This sacred site is dedicated to Surya (Sun God) and is believed to bless devotees with vitality, power, and success.
Later, visit the Sukran Temple at Kanjanur, associated with Venus (Sukran), the planet of love, wealth, beauty, and luxury. Worship here is said to improve marital harmony and general well-being. Overnight stay at Kumbakonam.
Day 2: Kumbakonam – Thirunallaru – Kumbakonam
After breakfast, proceed to Alangudi Apatsahayesvarar Temple, also known as the Guru Temple, dedicated to Brihaspati (Jupiter), the guru of gods and symbol of wisdom and knowledge. Praying here is believed to bring blessings of wisdom, prosperity, and a harmonious family life.
Your next stop is the Saneeswara Temple in Thirunallar, one of the most powerful temples dedicated to Shani (Saturn). Although Lord Shiva is the primary deity, this temple is renowned for its effective rituals that relieve the burdens of Saturn dosha. Devotees believe that their karmic burdens are lessened here after a sacred oil bath and Darshan.
Afternoon visits Kethu temple at Keelaperumpallam. Lord Shiva is the main deity here, while Lord Ketu, depicted with a human body and serpent head, is worshipped with lily flowers, horse gram, and multi-coloured cloths.You'll return to Kumbakonam for another overnight stay.
Day 3: Kumbakonam – Vaitheeswarankoil – Kumbakonam
After enjoying an early breakfast, set off for Vaitheeswaran Koil, where you'll find the Sevvai Temple, dedicated to Mars (Angaraka). Here, devotees offer prayers seeking relief from Mangal Dosha, blood-related ailments, and marital challenges. Offering red cloth and lentils is seen as particularly auspicious.
In the afternoon, make your way to the Budhan Temple in Thiruvenkadu, which honours Mercury (Budhan). This temple is known as the guardian of intellect, speech, and communication. Worshipping here is thought to help alleviate Bhuda dosham and bestow devotees with intelligence, artistic talents, and academic achievements. Return to Kumbakonam for overnight stay.
Day 4: Kumbakonam to Trichy airport
After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, our driver will take you to Trichy International Airport for your return journey. Ending your soul-soothing Navagraha temple pilgrimage.
