Detailed Itineary

Day 1: Mumbai – Nashik

Upon your arrival at Mumbai International Airport, a friendly representative from South Tourism will warmly welcome you and assist you on your onward journey to Nashik, a significant pilgrimage destination in Maharashtra.

After a smooth 4-hour drive, you’ll check into your hotel and unwind. Later in the evening, head to the sacred Trimbakeshwar Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples in India, celebrated for its spiritual importance and ancient architecture. Continue your spiritual exploration in Panchavati, a revered area steeped in mythology and closely associated with the epic Ramayana. Visit temples dedicated to Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and Lakshmana, and soak in the divine atmosphere of this holy site.

Day 2: Nasik - Aurangabad

After breakfast, set off on a picturesque drive to Aurangabad, a city steeped in history, and to some incredible UNESCO sites. Once you arrive, check into your hotel and take a moment to relax. 

In the afternoon, get ready for an enchanting tour of the Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These stunning rock-cut cave temples, which date back to the 6th–9th centuries CE, beautifully illustrate the spiritual unity of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. Be sure to visit the Kailasa Temple, an architectural wonder carved from a single rock, famous for its intricate details and grand design.

Day 3: Aurangabad (Ajanta Caves)

After breakfast, embark on a full-day adventure to the breath taking Ajanta Caves, another UNESCO World Heritage Site in India. These 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave temples, some dating back to the 2nd century BCE, are hailed as some of the finest examples of ancient Indian art and architecture.
