Detailed Itineary

Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be met by one of our representatives from South Tourism, who will assist you with your transfer to the Houseboat. Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, is surrounded by stunning scenic locations.

In the evening, take a shikara ride on the world-famous Dal Lake, where you can visit the floating vegetable gardens and explore Open Dal Lake. Keep an eye out for birds such as Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, and Grebes. Dinner and overnight stay at the Houseboat.

Day 2: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

After an early breakfast, embark on a day excursion to Gulmarg, located 52km from Srinagar. Known as the “Meadow of Flowers,” Gulmarg is famous for the world’s highest Green Golf Course and Ski Resort.

Visit the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world, and enjoy the beautiful views. Due to its steep terrain, Gulmarg is a popular destination for advanced skiers from around the world. Return to Srinagar in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Pahalgam, also known as the “Valley of Shepherds.” Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of streams from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River.

Visit iconic locations like Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari, the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra. Return to Srinagar by evening for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar

Today, embark on an excursion to Sonmarg, also known as the “Meadow of Gold,” which sparkles against the backdrop of snowy mountains and a clear blue sky. The drive through the pine forests and towering mountains is breathtaking.

Sonmarg is popular for its trekking routes, glaciers, and the Amarnath Holy Cave. It also marks the last halt on the drive from Srinagar to Leh. After this scenic day, return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Srinagar Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to the airport. Based on your departure schedule, our representative will assist you in boarding your flight.
