Visveswaraya Industrial & Tech Museum

Sir M. Visveswaraiya, the architect of modern Karnataka, is commemorated with the Visveswaraya Industrial and Technological Museum. This museum showcases technical inventions and provides a concise history of the industrial revolutions that have occurred in the country. Located near Cubban Park, it was inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of, on July 14, 1962. The museum offers various activities such as the Taramandal Show, Science Demonstration Show, Sky Observation Programme, Popular Science Lecture, and Commemorative Programme. It features seven permanent exhibition halls: Engine Hall - How Things Work, Electrotechnic, Fun Science, Space: Emerging Technology in the Service of Mankind, Biotechnological Revolution, BEL-Hall of Electronics, and Science for Children. Special exhibits include the Dinosaur Enclave, Science on a Sphere, and a Wright Brothers airplane. The museum highlights the industrial and technological advancements of the country and is an essential visit for tourists.
