Mughal Gardens - Kashmir The most popular tourist attraction in Srinagar and is the largest Mughal Garden in the entire Kashmir Valley is Mughal Gardens which is the classic illustration of Mughal Architecture. Mughal Gardens houses three beautiful gardens.

Nishat Bagh, Chashma Shahi and Shalimar Bagh are the three well planned gardens with rejuvenating qualities kindling the aesthetic spirit in everyone. Out of the three, Nishat Bagh is the oldest one, dating back to 16th century and it is surprising to note that the lowest terrace of the garden connects to Dal Lake. Chashma Shahi is the newer one built in 1932 and the arrangement is so scenic that the garden has emerged around a spring originating from Zabarwan Mountain.

Shalimar Bagh is acclaimed to be the most beautiful garden, not only in the Mughal Gardens, but across the Kashmir Valley where nature presents itself in the most unspoiled form.
