From the bottom of the Dhoni hills through steep mountain path and thick forests, one can walk down to Malampuzha and Meenvallam waterfalls. For four-wheel drives and bikes, a narrow mountain way is there which lead up to the waterfall, but private vehicles are prohibited from traversing these roads. The Azhakampara waterfall which is at a distance of 3 Kms from Dhoni Hills is a splendid place amidst scenic beauty. The trek begins very gently and then starts to climb. Overall it is a very moderate climb and most of the people cover it in a little over an hour. The scenic visual treat throughout the trek is the perfect reward for the arduous hike and keep the trekker's adrenaline rushing.
