Ayyampuzha is a small sleepy village situated in Angamaly in Ernakulam district of Kerala. It is an unexplored hill station destination which is filled with lush greenery, stunning landscapes dotted with brooks, and lush greenery, and an overall serene climate.

Ezhattumugham has a shallow river that has a check dam on it. The oil palm plantations which is run by the Plantation Corporation is another attraction here. Various projects are initialized by the state government to attract tourist to Ayyampuzha.

Prakriti Gramam is one such endeavor. It is a beautiful park that is built adjacent to the check dam at Ayyampuzha which is used to go from one side of the river to the other by the people.Prakriti Gramam offers many recreational activities for the tourists in the form of a children’s park, bathing spots, refreshment areas etc.

Ayyampuzha can be visited throughout the year. The weather is too hot with temperatures ranging from 30 degree Celsius to 37 degree Celsius during the Summer months in Ayyampuzha. Monsoon season brings forth drop in temperatures. During the Monsoon season, the temperature ranges between 26 degree Celsius to 32 degree Celsius. Nights are mostly cool in Ayyampuzha.
