Best Time to Visit

Idukki is an all year round travel destination. But April to June is considered to be the best time to visit Idukki. Summer season in Idukki begins in March with a temperature that goes up to a maximum of 37 degrees Celsius and it continues till the month of May. Idukki remains uncrowded during this season; hence you can utilize this season to explore this destination.

The temperature ranges between 27 degree Celsius and 18 degree Celsius during the winter months of November to February in Idukki. It is the ideal time for sightseeing and admiring the rich variety of flora and fauna found in this region. The rain-washed beauty of Idukki can be enjoyed during the monsoon months of June to September. During this season, the temperature ranges from a minimum of 20 degree Celsius to a maximum of 25 degree Celsius.
