The best time to visit Kalpetta is from October to May.

The overall temperature of Kalpetta ranges between 30 degree Celsius to 32 degree Celsius most of the time. During the month of December, you can experience heavy mist (Called KODA MANJU) in Kalpetta. Summer season in Kalpetta begins in March and continues till May. Even though this season is comparatively hotter, but most of the tourist places in Kalpetta are very comfortable and cool with a gentle breeze. And the places are calm and pleasant for sightseeing.

Winter season that begins in October and ends in February is also an ideal season to visit this place. One can witness nature in its purest form during the monsoon months of June to October.
