Best Time to Visit

Vythiri is an all year round travel destination. But October to May is regarded as the best time to visit this beautiful hill station. Summer season is from March to May which is characterized by a minimum temperature of 20°C and a maximum temperature of 37°C. Summer season is also the ideal season to visit Vythiri because this place is not as hot as that in the rest of Kerala during this season.

During winter season from December to February, the temperatures drop to a minimum of 10°C and a maximum of 30°C. Lush greenery and the fresh mountain air can be experienced during this season. Monsoon brings heavy rainfall in Vythiri during the months of June to November.
