As you venture Pondicherry, little deeper, you will end up in Serenity beach, this beach is rarely touched by human feet and why so it seems more appealing than other beaches. The village surrounding the beach mainly occupied by the fishermen, there is no such statues or stalls, but is beautiful in its own way.

Serenity beach is also known as Kottapuram beach, as the village nearby is called so. This beach is devoid of crowd and clamor, a man made rock pier extends into the sea and paves way for the excellent view of the surrounding. Visit this beach during evening, only when you can relish all the pleasures.

There are not many places to visit, in and around this beach. You can take short stroll to the adjoining village and experience their culture and life style.

Facilities: As it is less crowded you can bask in the sun or go for surfing. There are lots of ferries, on which you try a ride.
