Detailed Itineary

Day 1: Arrival at Tiruchirapalli - Tiruvannamalai

Upon arrival at Tiruchirappalli Airport, our representative will warmly receive you and assist with your hotel transfer. After a brief rest, visit the Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple, which is one of the largest active temple complexes in India and a must-see in Trichy.
After soaking in the sights, we’ll hit the road to Tiruvannamalai, which is about 220 km away and takes roughly 5 hours. This charming town is home to the famous Arunachaleswarar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and beautifully situated at the foot of the sacred Annamalai Hills. You’ll spend the night at a cosy hotel in Tiruvannamalai.

Day 2: Tiruvannamalai - Tirupati

After an early breakfast, we’ll set off for Tirupati, which is around 230 km away and takes about 6 hours. This place is one of the holiest pilgrimage spots in India. You’ll visit the iconic Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, which draws millions of devotees every year.
Don't miss the local markets - they're known for unique Tirupati wooden toys and brass idols. You’ll spend the night at a hotel in Tirupati.

Day 3: Tirupati - Chennai

Next, we’ll head to Chennai, the cultural heart of South India, which is about 180 km away and takes around 4 hours. Once you arrive, you’ll visit some of the prominent temples, including the Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Ashtalakshmi Temple, and Vadapalani Murugan Temple.
In the evening, unwind with a stunning sunset at Marina Beach, one of the longest urban beaches in the world. You’ll stay overnight at a hotel in Chennai.

Day 4: Chennai - Chidambaram

Set off for Chidambaram, a charming temple town located 250 km away, renowned for the Nataraja Temple, a must-visit for devotees of Lord Shiva. Visit additional sacred sites such as Vaitheeswaran Koil, Keezhaperumpallam Ketu Temple, Thiruvenkadu Budhan Temple, Poombuhar, and the beautiful Pichavaram Mangrove Forest. You'll spend the night in Chidambaram.

Day 5: Chidambaram - Thanjavur

Proceed to Thanjavur, roughly 140 km away, often referred to as the Rice Bowl of Tamil Nadu. This city is home to the stunning Brihadeeswarar Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your spiritual adventure continues with visits to the Thingalur Chandran Temple, Alangudi Guru Temple, Kanjanur Sukran Temple, and Suryanar Koil, all part of the Navagraha Temples circuit. You'll stay overnight in Thanjavur.

Day 6: Thanjavur - Pillayarpatti - Rameshwaram

After breakfast, head to the Pillayarpatti Karpaga Vinayagar Temple, an ancient rock-cut temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Then, the journey towards Rameshwaram, which is 270 km away, takes around 6 hours. This town is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples in India. Be sure to visit the revered Ramanathaswamy Temple, famous for its extensive corridors and deep spiritual significance. Overnight stay at a hotel in Rameshwaram.

Day 7: Rameshwaram - Madurai

Depart for Madurai, 170 km away, and should take around 4 hours. This city is one of the oldest continuously inhabited places on the planet! Once you arrive, make sure to visit the stunning Meenakshi Amman Temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. It's renowned for its intricate carvings and impressive gopurams. You’ll also want to check out the Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple, Azhagar Kovil, and Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam. Overnight stay in Madurai.

Day 8: Madurai - Palani - Tiruchirapalli

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Palani, which is about 122 km away and takes less than 3 hours. Here, you can visit the Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple, one of the six sacred abodes of Lord Murugan. After your Darshan, we’ll head to Tiruchirappalli for an overnight stay. If time allows, don’t miss the chance to explore the Rock Fort Temple and Jambukeswarar Temple.

Day 9: Departure from Tiruchirapalli

On your last day, enjoy some sightseeing or visit a few temples in Trichy, depending on your flight schedule. After checkout, our team will assist with departure and ensure a smooth transfer to Tiruchirappalli Airport, concluding your spiritual tour of Tamil Nadu.
