Detailed Itineary
Day 1: Arrive Chennai – Tiruthani – Kumbakonam
Upon arrival at Chennai International Airport, begin your pilgrimage with a drive to Tiruthani Murugan Temple, one of the revered Arupadai Veedu temples. After the Darshan, continue your journey to Kumbakonam – a town steeped in history and renowned for its temples.
Day 2: Kumbakonam – Palani – Madurai
After breakfast, visit the Swamimalai Murugan Temple, renowned for its unique idol and deep spiritual significance. Then, make your way via Trichy to the Palani Murugan Temple, one of the most popular pilgrimage spots in South India. Later, head to Madurai for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Madurai – Tiruchendur – Madurai
Start your day with a trip to the Tiruchendur Murugan Temple, beautifully situated along the Bay of Bengal. Afterward, return to Madurai for another overnight stay. If you have time, consider an optional visit to the renowned Meenakshi Amman Temple in the evening.
Day 4: Madurai – Chennai (By Flight)
