Sri Govindarajaswami Temple

It is one of the most significant temples to visit in Tirupati. During the time of invading, the statue of Lord Govindarajaswamy was brought from Chidambaram. The deity was enshrined in Tirupati. After the time of invading, the statue was carried back to Chidambaram. Later, it is said that the Lord Vishnu appeared in the dreams of Ramanujar and asked him to enshrine his image in Tirupati. The notable feature of the temple is the gopuram, which beautifully exhibits the epic of Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita. It is believed that visiting this temple can eliminate obstacles to earn wealth.
