Detailed Itineary
Day 1: Arrival in Leh
After you reach Leh, one of our representatives will receive and assist you for a quick check-in at the hotel. Rest for a while and later in the evening, Visit Shanti Stupa in Leh, popular for its huge statue of Lord Buddha, and also explore the bustling Leh local market for souvenirs. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh – Uleytokpo
Post breakfast, proceed for sightseeing on the Leh – Srinagar Highway, a scenic stretch known for road trips in Ladakh. Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, a tribute to the Indian Army, and also proceed to visit Kali Mata Temple & Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Experience the fascinating effects of Magnetic Hill, which seemingly defies gravity. See the confluence of the holy Indus and Zanskar Rivers, one of the most Instagram-worthy spots in Ladakh. Visit Alchi Monastery, Likir, and Basgo. Check-in at the camp stay in Uleytokpo for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Uleytokpo – Leh
After breakfast, start to visit Lemayuru Monastery, the oldest in Ladakh. Spend time capturing moments in Moon landscape, where the terrain resembles the moon’s surface — a must-see in Ladakh road trip packages. Return to Leh for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Leh - Pangong Lake
After having your early breakfast, get ready to explore sightseeing places like Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery, and then head to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass (17,586 feet), the third highest motorable pass in the world. Pangong Tso Lake is a pristine saltwater lake in Ladakh, stretching up to 120 km and shared by India and China. Reach Pangong and enjoy the outing along the serene lake banks. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake camp.
Day 5: Pangong Lake - Leh
After breakfast, travel back to Leh. On the way, take a short break at Changla Pass to taste a cup of hot steaming tea. Explore the Hemis Monastery, one of the most famous and largest Buddhist monasteries in India. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: Leh - Nubra Valley
After breakfast, travel to Nubra Valley via the legendary Khardungla Pass, famed as the world’s highest motorable road. Explore the Diskit Monastery and observe the giant Maitreya Buddha statue. Later, explore Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can spot the rare Bactrian camels. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 7: Nubra Valley (Local Sightseeing) and back - Leh
After breakfast, visit Diskit & Hunder Villages and surrounding monasteries in Nubra Valley. Experience the culture and lifestyle of Northernmost India. Drive back to Leh via Khardungla Pass. Overnight Stay in Leh.
Day 8: Departure from Leh
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel. Based on your departure schedule, you will be assisted to board your flight from Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport. The tour ends with unforgettable memories of your Leh Ladakh adventure.
