Day 1: Coimbatore - Ooty
Upon your arrival at Coimbatore Airport or Railway Station, our representative will greet you and introduce you to your driver. Proceed towards Ooty, a resort town nestled in the Western Ghats. Check-in at your hotel and refresh. Later, embark on a sightseeing tour of Ooty, also known as the 'Queen of Hills.' Visit the Rose Garden, an award-winning garden with an extensive variety of roses. Next, explore the Ooty Lake, a man-made lake built in 1825 by John Sullivan, offering picturesque views and boating activities. In the evening, you can engage in personal activities or shop at the local markets. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay. (Local sightseeing may vary depending on your arrival time.)
Day 2: Ooty
Begin your day with a delightful breakfast surrounded by the green hills. Start your exploration with the Botanical Garden, covering 55 acres and serving as a bridge between botanical science and the public. Next, visit the Tea Factory and Tea Museum, where you can purchase freshly brewed tea to take home. Continue to the Thread Garden, renowned for its intricately crafted plants and flowers made entirely from thread—perfect for craft enthusiasts. You will also visit the Wax World and Glass House. If time permits, experience the local life of the Todas, a tribal group residing in the Nilgiris Hills. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Ooty
After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a scenic toy train ride from Ooty to Coonoor, one of the largest hill stations after Ooty, situated 20 km away. In Coonoor, visit Sim's Park, a botanical garden home to over 1000 species of flora, including the Queensland Karry Pine and Rudraksha tree. Then, head to Dolphin’s Nose and Lamb’s Rock, offering panoramic views of the Coimbatore plains. You will also visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest point of the Nilgiris Hills at 2,623 meters, which offers breathtaking views. Don’t miss a visit to the lush Tea Gardens in Coonoor. After a full day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Ooty - Coimbatore
After a final breakfast in the hills, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to Coimbatore. Based on your departure schedule, proceed to board your flight, concluding the tour with wonderful memories of your trip.
