Detailed Itineary

Day 1 : Mount Abu Sightseeing

Once you reach Ahmedabad, one of our representatives will receive and assist you for your onward transfer to Mount Abu. Arrive in Mount Abu and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the regions nearby at your own pace. Mount Abu is the highest point in the Aravalli Mountain Range. There are interesting treks and picnic spots, romantic royal retreats of various erstwhile royal families, and some relics of the Raj period. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.

Day 2 : Mount Abu Sightseeing

Today you will be on a sightseeing tour of Mount Abu. Mount Abu is the highest point in the Aravalli Mountain Range. Besides being a hill station to entertain the adventurer in you, Mount Abu is a center of pilgrimage for Jains due to the Dilwara temples. The complex consists of five temples built between the eleventh and thirteenth centuries. The intricate ornamental carvings here represent the great heights reached in stone decoration. Also, visit Nakki Lake and see the strange rock formations around it, including Toad Rock. The Achalgarh fort has the famous Achaleshwar temple and provides superb views of the area. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.

Day 3 : Mount Abu - Kumbhalgarh

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your drive to Kumbhalgarh. On your way, visit Ranakpur, where you will visit India’s largest Jain temple complex dating back to the 15th century. The 1444 ornately carved marble pillars are distinct from one another. (Temples open only at 1200 Hrs. Leather belts, footwear, bare legs, and black clothing are not allowed.) Resume your drive to Kumbhalgarh, the finest example of defense fortifications of Rajasthan. The 15th-century fort commands an important strategic position and gives superb views of the surroundings. The 36 km long walls enclose palaces, gardens, temples, and water storage facilities. The fort is believed to have been taken only once in its history. There is also a wildlife sanctuary here, known for wolves, along with leopards, antelopes, and sloth bears. Overnight stay in Kumbhalgarh.

Day 4 : Kumbhalgarh – Udaipur

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your drive to Udaipur. Reach Udaipur and transfer to your hotel. Set on the shores of Lake Pichola and surrounded by hills, Udaipur grew in complete contrast to the harsh deserts of the rest of Rajasthan. This fairy-tale city, with its marble palaces and lakes surrounded by a ring of hills, is dominated by the massive City Palace, which overlooks Lake Pichola with its romantic island palaces. Picturesque havelis, ghats, and temples line the lakefront, with the lively bazaars of the old walled city stretching behind them. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 5 : Udaipur Sightseeing

This day you will be on a full-day sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Start with the City Palace and Museum. Also visit Jagdish Temple. Go around Fatehsagar Lake. Later, visit the Bharathiya Lok Kala Mandir or the Folk Art Museum. Relax and later in the evening, take a boat ride (on direct payment) on the wide Lake Pichola. Visit the Jag Mandir Island with its exquisite Gul Mahal Pavilion. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 6 : Udaipur – Ahmedabad – Departure

Post breakfast, you will be dropped at Ahmedabad where you can board your flight or train to resume your return journey to your homeland or to the next destination. Tour Ends with Beautiful Memories!
