Best Time to Visit:

November to February is the best time to reach this place and temperature ranges from 14 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius. From July to October, monsoon rain hits Gokarna hard and makes it impossible for adventure enthusiasts to involve in water sports. A sure treat for rain lovers as there is a significant price drop for accommodation. The average temperature of Gokarna ranges from 38 - 45 degrees Celsius in March, April, and May. Not a recommended time to travel but adults can relax indoors in mornings and chill on evenings.

Way to Reach:

 By Air -  Gokarna has Dabolim as its nearest airport while taxis and public transport system take you to the destination.

 By Rail -  Ankola Railway Station is the nearest at a distance of 20 km from Gokarna. It connects most of the destinations.

By Road: Bangalore, Dabolim, Madgaon, and Mangalore are the major cities accessible using the well-connected roadways.
