September to February is the best time to visit the Kemmanagundi Hills. But the whole area has an amicable climate throughout the year. Rain is intermittent with lesser tourists compared to Summer. If you can bare the freezing temperature in winter, Kemmanagundi is explorable in winter with less crowd. Dussehra happens in the winter season and an ideal time for budget travelers and honeymooners. The valleys are its best during the monsoon climate. However, trekking is sloppy and slippery. But, a splendid time for photography. During summer, 18 - 28 degrees Celsius temperature offer excellent conditions for families with kids to stroll.
